Chris is a
former voice student of Kay Pere
He is an actor and singer who is currently living and
going to school in Connecticut. Chris has had the opportunity to
appear opposite noted actors including Tammy Grimes, Norman
Allen, Timothy Nolan, Lorainne Serabian, Max Showalter and Erin
Dilly. He has performed at the Goodspeed Opera House,
Theatre-by-the-Sea, Ivoryton Playhouse, the Eugene O'Neil
Theatre Center, Colonial (Granite) Theatre, Stratford
Shakespeare Festival Theatre, and the Garde Arts Center.
Productions include CABARET, CRAZY FOR YOU,
HELLO DOLLY!, SPOON RIVER ANTHOLOGY, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE,
the East-coast premiere of WINESBURG, OHIO, FINIAN'S RAINBOW,
SWEENEY TODD (Tobias), BYE BYE BIRDIE(Hugo), INTO THE
WOODS(Baker), YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN(Linus), LOST IN
YONKERS (Arty), Max Showalter's TOUCH OF THE CHILD, VOICES, A
CHRISTMAS CAROL, as well as various musical reviews including a
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit NOTHING'S GONNA HARM
YOU at Goodspeed. Christopher's film work includes
lead/principle roles in MICKEY LEE, THE PARLOR(with Gordon Clapp
of NYPD BLUE and James Wilder of MELROSE PLACE), and MYSTIC
NIGHTS & PIRATE FIGHTS, available from Tacamo Productions and
Showcase Entertainment. Chris also starred in a student-produced
film in association with Doritos/Winterfresh Inc.
Chris has been a student of master acting
teacher Lynn Britt for years. He has also studied voice with
Leighton Phraner and the late Mary Langdon, and dance (jazz)
with Eastern Connecticut Ballet. He is currently a student at
The Hartt School in Hartford, CT where he has been coached by
Kristin Huffman, Robert Felstein, and Stan Wiertzychowski,
studies acting with Henry Fonte and Alan Rust, and dance with
Ralph Perkins, Tim Kasper and Danielle Jolie-Dale.
At home Chris is a member of the LUNCH (Local
United Network to Combat Hunger) Ensemble, a performing group
that benefits shoreline soup kitchens. Chris can be heard on
various LUNCH CD's and cassettes including the recently released
High School, My School, in which he is featured as a guest
artist. Christopher dedicates all of his performances to his
family and to his dear friend, the late Max Showalter. (Onward
